Dr. med. Volker Klauss is a Professor for Cardiology and Internal Medicine and lecturer at the University of Munich.
He was Head of the Cardiology Department of the University Hospital of Munich, City Center, and moved then to a private clinic in the center of Munich. He is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist (German Cardiac Society) and works regularly in the catherization laboratory close to his clinic. He is member of different national and international medical associations. He is further member of the German Board as well as member of the Ethical Committee of the Medical Faculty of the University of Munich.

Biography
Prof. Dr. V. Klauss is Professor for Cardiology and Internal Medicine and lecturer at the University of Munich. He was Head of the Cardiology Department of the University Hospital of Munich, City Center, and moved then to a private clinic in the center of Munich.
He is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist (German Cardiac Society) and works regularly in the catherization laboratory close to his clinic. He is a member of different national and international medical associations.
Furthermore, he is member of the German Board as well as member of the Ethical Committee of the Medical Faculty of the University of Munich. Prof. Roland Gartner is the Head of the outpatient clinic for Endocrinology and Diabetes with Munich University Clinic with whom he has been associated with since July 1979.
He is also the Assistant Medical Director for the ward for general internal medicine and Lecturer in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Intensive Care Medicine.
Prof. Gartner completed his university degree in Medicine at LMU, Munich, Germany in 1976.
He has undertaken multiple scientific training courses under the mentorship of Prof. P.C. Scriba in development of different methods for hormone determination, isolation and characterization of human TBG; and in Cell biology under the mentorship of Prof. Herzog.
He is a member of Endocrine Society, European Thyroid Association, German Society for Internal Medicine, German Society for Intensive Internal Medicine and Androgen Excess Society. In Dubai, he is associated with Medwin Medical Center.
